Marcell Radesh Beharry

was born in South America his family moved to the U.S. when he was five. Marcell grew up in the Washington Heights section of New York city.

He attended Pratt Institute where he studied fine arts and illustration. Marcell is a classically trained painter and self taught sculptor.

His current works lean toward modern idealism. His juxtapose of contemporary figures in classic architectural motif offer both a celebration of who we are and nostalgia for what we were.
